K1 kerosene is a cleaner-burning fuel with a lower sulfur content, making it more suitable for certain heating systems, especially in the colder months where gelling can be a concern. If you choose to use #2 fuel in your K1 tank, we offer a special additive that helps prevent gelling and improves the performance of #2 fuel in colder temperatures. This additive can help mitigate some of the risks associated with using #2 fuel in a K1 tank.
